Parking Lot Seller: $16-16.50/hr
Must be 18 or older
Background Check required
Sells tickets and makes change accurately and promptly.

Tram Driver: $16-16.50/hr
Must be 18 or older
DMV check required
Drives a tram in a responsible manner.

Parking Lot Attendant: $16-16.50/hr
Assigns vehicles to parking spaces, directs traffic, and verifies credentials.

Tram Attendant: $15/hr
Assists fair patrons on and off the trams in a safe and responsible manner.


Ticket Scanner: $15-16/hr
Greets guests, scans tickets and verifies credential at entrance to the fair.

Seating Attendant: $15/hr
Oversees reserve seating in our amphitheater, action sports arena & racing grandstands.

Will Call Attendant: $15/hr
Must be 18 or older
Organize, track and document tickets left at Will Call. Assist guests with ticket pick up and answer FAQs.


Agriculture: $14/hr
Assists Agriculture Department with judging, setup and staging of Floral Exhibit.

Gardens: $14/hr
Assists Professional Garden Department with watering and daily garden maintenance.

Hobby Building Arts and Crafts: $14/hr
Assists with setup, instruction and cleanup of guest Arts and Crafts projects.

Smalls Animals: $14/hr
Sales and maintenance of small animals.

Barnyard Staff: $16.00/hr
Educates the public and takes care of the barnyard animals.

MOD Squad: $16/hr
Helps with set up, maintenance and tear down of exhibit space and community programming. Must have the ability to lift 20 lbs.


Guest Service Representative: $15-16/hr
Handles Fairgoers questions & concerns. Helps supervise lost children.

Building Attendants: $15/hr
Monitors the Commercial Sales Buildings and assists with keeping them clean.

Vendor Office Attendant: $20/hr
Assist vendors with questions and concerns.


Event Operations: $17-18/hr

Helps with setup and tear down for events within the Fair.


Auditor, Food Concessions: $15-18/hr
Based on experience
Assists Accounting Department with auditing food vendor transactions. Must have cash register experience and be proficient in Excel with attention to detail.

Volunteer Program Representative: $15-16/hr
Assists the Volunteer Program Coordinator in implementing and running our Volunteer Program.

Human Resources Intern: $15-16/hr
Assists in the hiring, onboarding, training and guidance of fair staff.

All administrative jobs require computer and people skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.


Grounds Shuttle Driver: $15/hr
Must be 18 or older
Shuttles vendors and entertainers.

If offered a position with the Alameda County Fair, you will be required to provide documents that establish your identity and authorize your eligibility to work in the U.S. If you are age 17 or younger, you will be required to provide a valid work permit available through your school, unless you have already graduated from high school. You must be at least 16 years old to work at the annual Alameda County Fair. Positions in racing, cash handling or childcare require candidates to be at least 18 years old. For positions involving cash handling or childcare, you will be asked to submit and pass a background screening.
