Ways to Get to the Fair

The Alameda County Fair is located off of the Bernal Ave Exit from the 680 Highway in Pleasanton, California.
There are three admission gates to the Fair for the public:
Green Gate – Known as the “Main” entrance, the Green Gate is located right off of Valley Ave, cross street of Bernal Ave. Enter at Gate 8.
Red Gate – Red Gate is accessible from the Gate 12 entrance located about a 1/4 mile up on Valley Ave. from Bernal Ave. Enter at Gate 12.
Yellow Gate – Located at 4501 Pleasanton Ave. off Bernal Ave. Parking is limited. This is the location of:
- Administration Offices
- Will Call Ticket Booth
- VIP Parking Lot
- Bike Parking
Parking Lot Trams presented by
BART & Wheels
Take BART to the Dublin/Pleasanton Station then catch the WHEELS Fair Shuttle (Route 52) to the Fairgrounds — all day, every day of the Fair, until closing.
On the 4th of July there will be no direct shuttle from BART. Please check Wheels link for schedule.
Wheels Livermore Riders
Livermore residents can also leave their cars at home and catch the bus to go to the Fair. Livermore fairgoers can board any Route 10 bus along East Avenue and Railroad Avenue or board at the Wheels Transit Center located at 2500 Railroad Avenue in Downtown Livermore. Ample free parking is available on the third level at the Livermore Valley Center Parking Garage adjacent to the Transit Center. Riders will need to exit the bus at the corner of Peters Avenue and Rose Avenue and walk approximately four blocks to the Fair’s East Gate entrance on Pleasanton Avenue.
Bike parking available at Yellow Gate (along Fairgrounds Rd.)
Drop off and Pick up are at the Pleasanton Avenue Bus Turn Around.
