Sensory Friendly
Visiting the Alameda County Fair should be an enjoyable experience for everyone. To better support guests with sensory sensitivities or accessibility challenges, the Fair offers a range of options designed to reduce overstimulation, make areas accessible and provide flexibility throughout the day. These options are intended to help guests feel more comfortable, plan their visit with confidence and participate in the Fair in ways that work best for them.
Sensory Morning
On Wednesday, July 8 the Fair will open early for a sensory friendly morning designed for guests who benefit from a quieter, calmer environment. The event will feature reduced noise and lighting along with designated quiet zones to better support individuals with autism, PTSD or other special needs. A special ticket is required for entry.
