Time Capsule

As part of the Alameda County Fair’s America 250 celebration, a special time capsule will be installed on the Fairgrounds on Friday, June 26.

The time capsule will capture a snapshot of life at the 2026 Alameda County Fair, preserving memories, stories and contributions from Fair staff, volunteers, vendors, community partners, Fair families and guests. Together, these items will reflect the traditions, people and moments that make the Fair a meaningful part of the Alameda County community.

The capsule is planned to be opened in 2076 during America’s 300th anniversary, giving future Fairgoers a look back at the Fair as it was during this milestone year.
