Getting to the Fair

Fairgrounds Map

Parking / Drop off 

  • The Alameda County Fairgrounds has designated accessible parking spaces for guests with disabilities in all of our parking lots. Availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis. To park in one of our designated spaces, you must present a disabled plate or placard. For larger events we reserve additional courtesy parking for disabled guests. Our standard parking fee is charged for all parking
  • Unless guests have an ADA placard or plate, accommodations will be subject to availability
  • Rideshare drop-off/pick-up zone is located at 4501 Pleasanton Avenue in the bus turnaround

Mobility Rentals 

  • Scoot Around – the Fair offers mobility equipment rentals from a third party, as a courtesy, at all three admission gates for small children and guests on a first-come, first-served basis. 

  • All rentals are for the full day (no hourly or “partial day” rates) and all rentals require a valid ID as a deposit. A form of ID must be left at the booth during duration rental Driver’s license or any ID with full name listed will be accepted

  • Scootaround is a rental service –  equipment is available for reservations or walk-up rentals. Visit here for pricing and details.  *Fair Time ONLY 

Information Booths 

  • Information Booths are staffed with individuals who can help provide assistance 

  • Information Booths are located at the three entrance Gates and throughout the Fairgrounds 

Restrooms

  • Family/Companion restrooms are located in Building A and Amphitheater Restroom

Lucky Amphitheater Accessible Seating Accommodations 

  • The Amphitheater has accessible ramps to ADA seating

  • Guests can purchase accessible seating in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests who plan to attend the concert and have not reserved an accessible seat will be accommodated on a first-come first serve basis. Please find Amphitheater staff for assistance. ADA compliant seating is accompanied with a single companion seat next to it. If a companion seat next to ADA compliant seating is not available, a seat closest in proximity will be provided

  • Guests with a temporary disability will be accommodated subject to availability

Stella Artois Grandstand 

  • Grandstand equipped with elevator 

  • On either end of the Grandstand there are ADA accessible ramps

  • Seating is on a first-come, first-serve

  • ADA seating is located on the second level above the lower tier of stadium seats

Movies on the Lawn

  • Closed captioning is available for nightly movies. Please request at any information booth to have subtitles turned on.
