No pets are permitted on the Fairgrounds for the safety and security of all guests.

Yes, there will be a concert each night of the Fair, except for July 4. To view the concert line up, watch for updates – Concerts.

Yes, there will be a fireworks display on Friday, June 13 and Thursday, July 3. There will be a nightly drone show, excluding July 4th.

Yes, hand stamps are available at each gate as well as concerts for in and out privileges. Re-entry is valid until 9:30pm for Fair admission. Parking lots do not allow re-entry.

No, for the safety of guests and the performer, no props allowed by guests during shows.

Tickets

The Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association (ACAFA) is a non-profit that does not take tax funding from the government for the annual summer Fair.  This Fair is funded by the Fair revenue and used to host the next annual Fair.

Military free general admission, all day every day, with proof of ID.

Tickets purchased are valid for any one day of the Fair. 

Kiosks close at 9:15pm. Note, Parking closes at 9pm, admission gates close at 10m.

Removing admission from special events allows guests to purchase admission at a discounted rate and eliminates the risk of guests double purchasing.

Parking

Yes, parking must be purchased for each day. Buy online or at Parking Gate.

Preferred parking available at Gate 12.

You may purchase ahead or at the Parking Gate via parking staff. Save time and pay in advance. Credit card only. There are reverse ATMs to exchange cash for a card at each Gate and at the Gate 8 Parking Gate.

Preferred parking in the ACE lot is available on Pleasanton Avenue at the Yellow Gate entrance each day of Fair.

Preferred parking also available at Gate 12.

First come first serve based on availability. No large trucks or RVs. Credit card only.

Yes, any extra large vehicle or RV that requires two parking spaces will need to pay for both spaces. RV and extra large vehicles are only able to park in General Parking lots at Gate 8 or 12. 

Yes, motorcycles are permitted to park in any of our parking lots. The parking rate for motorcycles is the same as for cars.

Hours

The Alameda County Fair will be open from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, July 6, 2025 – open Wednesday through Sunday.

Fair will be open from noon to 11pm daily and from 10am to 8pm on Friday, July 4.

Note: July 4 the parking lots close at 3pm; the entry Gates close at 4pm.

Accessibility

Guests may purchase accessible seating in advance (club and floor level seats) on a first-come, first-served basis, plus one companion. Free General Admission Bleacher accessible seats are also available day of while supplies last.  Please note, some accessible seating may require walking up steps.

The parking attendants can accomodate accessible parking requests, just ask the attendant upon entering. Note, parking rates apply.

A Sensory Activation Vehicle is available on-site in AgVenture Park (Red Zone) and equipped with sensory kits, noise-canceling headphones and a quiet space – More information

Horseracing

Racing is every Friday-Sunday June 13 – July 6, 2025, including Friday, July 4, 2025

Open box seats are located on the second (upper and lower level) of the Stella Artois Grandstands. The lower level has green seats that are open to the public, all red seats are reserved for Season Box Holders and require a badge to access. All of the upper level is open to the public to enjoy. 

Upon check-in to Trackside Terrace, Sky Lounge or Box Seats (pre-purchased or on-site) you will be given a badge for your respective area. You must present that badge every time you wish to re-enter your reserved location. Failure to produce a valid badge will result in denial of entry. 

Yes, all tables are dressed in linens. Utensils, napkins and cups are provided

Yes, young children (3 & younger) are permitted and do not need a seat purchased on their behalf- however they will need to be seated on your lap

Yes, strollers are permitted to be held near your table during your reservation

Sky Lounge does not permit guests 17 or younger. Trackside Terrace does not have age restrictions

Upon reserving your Trackside Terrace or Sky Lounge reservations you will be sent a form to confirm any dietary needs within your group

 

Yes you are able to bring in a cake or cupcake but it must be dropped off at the events office who will take it to the Grandstands. Security will not allow you to bring it through. If you are interested please reach out ahead of time here.

 

Yes, you may bring in small table top decorations. If you are planning on bringing items in please provide notice ahead of time.

 

Yes, Sky Lounge does enforce the following dress code: khakis, slacks, dress shorts/capris, dresses, and jeans in good condition may be worn. Tank tops, flip flops, cut-offs, torn or offensive clothing and leisure athletic wear is not permitted. It is an indoor dining area; dress code is enforced.

Trackside Terrace does not have an enforced dress code but guests are expected to dress respectfully.

 

No, General Fair Admission and parking are not included in your Horse Racing Trackside Terrace or Sky Lounge reservation and need to be purchased separately.

Please Note: unfortunately, horse racing will not be returning for the 2025 Fair. However, the Michelob Ultra Grandstand will remain open and active, featuring FMX Motocross and a lineup of thrilling new entertainment options. Subject to change.
