Competitions
Participate in the 2024 Alameda County Fair Competitions and receive a free general admission ticket to the Fair. The annual summer Fair is your chance to show off your creativity from baking, crafts, flowers, jewelry, painting, photography to quilting and more. All submissions will be displayed during the Fair from June 14 through July 7, 2024.

Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest Qualifier

It’s here, under the radiant California sun, where two top athletes will seize a golden opportunity to etch their names among the elite. The Alameda County Fair returns to the qualifying circuit along with it’s thrilling rides and eye-catching exhibits this year.
The top male and female warriors of the culinary arena will secure their passage to the grandest stage of them all—the July 4th championship.
